Why did you choose this workcamp?

Because i want to know more about the world,make new friends and improve my language.

 

Is this your first workcamp?

Yes.     

 

Did you have any problems with the application process?

No.

 

Are the information sheet and guidebook helpful? Are the aims of the project and direction to the

workcamp clearly described for you to understand? If not, what suggestion(s) do you have?

 The information are helpful,but for me ,it will be better if we know the plan in details before the camp.i For

example , i didn't know the school is commercial(because i thougt i will work for uncommercail one),i didnot

know everyday we would go out,and we only have half day for country presentation.

 

What are your hopes and expectation at the beginning of the workcamp?

Want to make new friends ,know more about other culture, and let other people know more about China.

 

Were the orientation, briefing, or evaluation sessions helpful?

Yes, they are helpful.

 

What was the best part(s) of the workcamp?

Volunteers.

 

Were your expectations met? If yes, how? If no, why?

Basically i meet my expectations.

But when we want to let the teens try to do the chinese paper cutting and chinese knot,  The time,the space and

materials like scissors are not enough.its a pity.

 

What improvement can be made for this workcamp?

1.Meal.

2.Provide internet in dormitory.

3.The attitude of the headmaster of school.

I think they should trust and respect the volunteers. 

 

Do you have any suggestions for future volunteers?

Know more  details about the camp and the school which you are going to work with.

 

Was there any conflict/problems (ex. cultural differences) during the workcamp? If so, how was it resolved?

 I went through cultural differences,of course not conflict. I accepted the differences, it's good and interesting

experience.

 

Each project is meant to have an aim and for the volunteers to learn/reflect upon. Was the aim clear in your work? What did you learn?

I learned that i need to improve myself,especially language,, be more positive ,increase my knowledge ,broaden

horizons.
